My NYC Coffee Shop Bucket List

Coffee, my true love.

One of my favorite things to do while traveling is to visit unique coffee shops. I love my Starbucks, but I also love tiny hole-in-the-wall places that pump out the best cold brew you’ve ever tasted.

This fall, my daughter is going to NYC for the very first time, and I’m soooo excited to take her. We will be there around Thanksgiving time, and I’m already starting to plan what we want to do. I’ve been to NY a handful of times, but going with my daughter for the first time makes the entire trip seem more meaningful. Once I complete my itinerary for the fall, I’ll share some ideas in another post.

This list is dedicated to the 5 places I plan on visiting.

1. Cafe Lalo.
(201 West 83rd St.
New York, NY 10024
)

We start off the list with a cafe. This counts, though. I’m a huge You’ve Got Mail fan and have yet to visit the place where NY152 himself enjoyed a mochaccino (Is that even a thing?) This place is iconic to many, including myself. I cannot wait to sit down with a coffee, red rose, & Pride & Prejudice and channel my inner Kathleen Kelley.

2. LITTLE COLLINS.
(667 Lexington Ave,
New York, NY, 10022
)

After studing their menu, I’m ready for:

3.Stumptown Coffee Roasters
(18 W 29th St
New York, NY 10001
)

I hear they have the best nitro in the city.

4. Black Fox Coffee Co.
(70 Pine St
New York, NY 10005
)

Flat white & roast chicken and avocado sandwich, I’m coming for you.

5. SERENDIPITY 3
(225 E 60th St,
New York, NY 10022
)

Another filming location, this is where John Cusack & Kate Beckinsale went glove shopping in Bloomingdale’s. I will forgo the coffee to enjoy a frozen hot chocolate here. I can already taste it. Mmmmmmm…

And there you have my quaint little list of the places I want to visit this fall. Let me know if you have any recommendations. I love filming locations as well as anywhere with a good, strong iced coffee.

Happy travels!!
